Native American Museums


Amerind Foundation Museum and Archaeological Research Facility - Mission is to educate and inform the public about American Indian prehistory and history. Exhibits range from anthropology and archaeology to fine arts.

Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art - Museum dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of American Indian and western art and the many cultures of North America.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center - Museum features exhibits on the culture and heritage of the Pueblo Indians of New Mexico.

Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center - Serves as a major resource for scholars and the general public on Native American histories and cultures, particularly the Pequot heritage.

Stewart Indian Museum and Trading Post - Located on the grounds of the former Stewart Indian Boarding School, the site is part of a planned six building Native American Cultural Complex.
