Trailblazers: Rights of Way - The National Federation of Bridleway Associations and the South Pennine Pack Horse Trails Trust are organisations that promote equestrian access, protect rights of way and ancient lanes, campaign for access to open country, and maintains a list of open and closed bridleways and Current Issues regarding access in the UK.

Students Against Campsfield - There are 200 detainees in Campsfield House. Most are political refugees fleeing danger, torture and even death from countries such as Nigeria, Algeria, Ghana, Turkey, India and Zaire. They are held without charge, without time limit, without proper reasons given, and without proper access to legal representation. Amnesty International report that these are breaches of internationally recognised human rights.

Keep the nazis out of Dover! Asylum seekers welcome here - In the autumn of 1997 several hundred Roma (gypsies) fled persecution in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, arriving in the United Kingdom at the port of Dover in Kent. The British newspapers labelled the Roma as "economic migrants" and described their claims for asylum as "bogus".
